Carolina Trail Blazers Fun Caravan October 7-9, 2022

We will once again gather at the Eldorado Outpost for our annual Fun Caravan. See the attached flier for details.

IF I come, it will just be for the dinner and raffle. I've been put in some training that does not end until that Saturday.

I can almost see the finish line, as I continue working on the CJ. Maybe I spend too much time refurbing everything, but that's just me. Grill / radiator section, back in today, & started re-routing the wires. Jeep, should have put a harness plug up front where all you have to do is unplug the front firewall! O, & I spent an hour looking for that 1, Special 6" bolt, for the firewall center body mount. I Hide the damn thing!
No worries on the mismatched paint, it won't show.

Took my walk this morning, came back & rested a bit. Finished installing the front clip wiring. Watched Gunsmoke as I ate lunch. Back to the Project: Got the pullys, belts, fan blade, radiator & shroud in. Hoses on. 7 pm., time to stop, my finger tips ache, my back hurts & the CJ fights me! Really, if I don't screw up the distributor / timing, it's within a couple hours of running. But, after almost 6 moths off work [company problems], I've been called back. That will give me a little CJ break! I had to break out the AMC alternator belt tensioner.

I am planning to come and compete in the games. I’m planning to camp Friday through Sunday. I can bring a couple of items for the raffle as well.

Screw that!!! Short of a Magic wand, the Golden Eagle, will Not be there! May,,,,,, have found a link to the lifter / camshaft failure. I'll probably come for the dinner /meeting / raffle.
