We might hit Carowinds tomorrow, any good tips/tricks for a trip there? Its been a looong time since I've been, pretty sure the Days of Thunder ride is long gone. I'll have my boy/girl 12 yr old twins who claim to like roller coasters, but might be a lil skeerd of the big one.

I'm not a fan of lines so I don't do Carowinds. My kids and I prefer the White Water Center's ziplines and rope courses. I guess that isn't very useful to you though.

Get the fast pass, or whatever it's called. Pricey, but you get to go straight to the front of every line. Depending on when you go some of the coasters have a hour wait sometimes, fast pass has you on there in 5 minutes. I've gone there twice with the fast pass, won't ever go back without it.

I always go during the week. Rarely wait in line for more than 10 minutes. Guess that isn't relative to your question though....

It will probably be All New to you! SO many changes every year. I don't go, but get a few insights through my job, & a roommate that works at Carowinds. No, I Can't get tickets!

Holy shit you haven't been there in forever, the last time I went was 2001 and Days of thunder was gone then.

Probably the last time I was there was around 86-87 if I had to guess. I hate standing in lines now more than I did when I was a kid so that rules out amusement parks
