cb dealer near lake norman

x2 on the truck stop if you are in a hurry. Don't expect any knowledgeable help though.

Take I77 up to exit 42. The truck stop there has a cb shop in the back to the left of the truck stop. They didn't have a big selection of cb's but had good cable and antenae

The truck stop itself has CB and parts as well as the shop out back. My experience with the shop out back has not been good. It's like walking into an episode of hoarders and they acted like I was interuppting their Tv watching when I've been in there.

wHEN i FIRST GOT MY cb i WENT UP THERE AND ASKED THEM TO TUNE it. gUY CAME OUT, KEYED THE MIc (sorry about the caps lock) and asked for a radio check. You're probably less than 100 yards from the interstate at the front of their trailer so there's always trucks going by. Guy came back and said he got it loud and clear. Guy said you're good to go and tried to get me to pay him $20. F that. I'll never go back.

www.rightchannelradios.com

or

www.amazon.com has worked for me.

I went and bought a cobra 29 or something like that. Its HUGE. Unless i find a slck way to mount it, I'm gonna take it back and get a 25. I also need a mount for the antenna. Thoughts or experiences?

Yeah a fullsize CB radio in a Jeep is hard to do. Take a look at the Uniden 510 or 520 radios. They are super reliable and small footprint. Cobra 75 is another small one that a lot of Jeep guys like.
