CB - Freeman Park. Up in smoke!

Girlfriend and I decided to make the first trip this yr to Freeman park, this past weekend, wicked nice out! Never gets old! Always someone or something happening... always killer people watching!
Anyone else there?
Oh and as I mentioned above, it NEVER gets old. Yikes!! I never did find out how the fire started...

Was that below Ft. Fisher or at the North end of CB?

Looking at the Pics I noticed that was a Ford Explorer did anyone get the guys name who owned it I beleieve he now has a 8.8 for sale. :lol:
 
It started under the hood. Guess driving in the sand was too much for that Explorer. That was Carolina Beach FD out there in their Ford F-350 (I think that's what size it is).

it overheated and cought wires under the hood on fire, presumably the wires for his "system" . That's what i was told by people that claimed to have talked to people that knew him.

I saw you out there in your jeep, it looked pretty nice. Did you see me? I was the one with the deuce and a half
 
Back from the dead... be careful out there this weekend!

Oh and I heard that the season pass price was raised to $100 smackers now! Dang... glad I bought my pass early this year, paid the $60.
