cb problems

just put cobra 25 in my rig & here whats going on,when i key up to talk it also comes through radio if its on doesn't if off.i checked swr its fine,coax fine & here where it gets crazy i have amp in truck to so i unplugged rca to it & still talks through it do you think bad ground could cause this thanks for any help.:confused:
 
Even though you unplug the rca wire from the amp your cb can still transmit through the jacks into the speaker wire,However this could be caused by several diff. things.Are you runnin a power mic on your cb?Are you runnin a linear with your cb or is it just a stock radio?

your right it still can transmit through amp,no linear or power mic but radio does has super mod. the guy i got it from said it was stroken radio,think that whats causing my problem going try turn radio on in my wife car next to truck key up see what it does.

Hey guys the cobra is a good radio .. Just have to ask how do you have the radio wires running both wires running to the battery??? I f you do don't do that cut your ground wire as short as you can ..It ask as a antenna , That why you are going through the radio.. Hope this helps ..

ok.. replaced antenna seems to have fix it but i will take ground off battery make short thanks.
