Whats up peeps. I was wondering, is there anyway to know if a CB radio is working, without having somebody to talk to? I installed one in my XJ a couple of months back, and have yet to carry on a conversation with anybody. I know that it works per say, I just don't know if I'm getting out, or receiving anything back. I don't think truckers rely on them as much, I don't know that for sure though.

anywhere on an interstate you should still get a response on channel 19, just ask for a radio check

I pick up radio chatter in my 79 off I81/460 ch19 from my house out on the river that's how a made sure mine worked!! My cb handle is Packmule. Lol
