Celica 2.0 16 Valve Engine donor?

Anyone know if the Celica 2.0 16 Valve Engine from the late 80's era will bolt up to any of the truck or runner transmissions? That motor should be a sweet transplant given the 16 valve efficiency and power enhancement over the 22r.
