Cell phone in the washing machine.....

Fresh water, so possible depending on how bad the screen is infiltrated and battery too. Only one way to find out..

It's a flip phone, just get another one if you need to. If you can find one still.
 
I dropped mine in a cup of hot tea. After I dried it out everything worked but the speaker/earphone
 
It made noises I couldnt figure out what language
 
I dropped it in the toilet a year or so ago and quickly removed it in a second or 2 and it made a sound that got louder and higher like it was a bomb about to explode . I quickly pulled the battery out and cleaned/dried it out on the dashboard in the sun a few hours and it was fine. The little tags on the battery and back of the board are pink now, it seems to be pretty dry right now, have it in a bag of rice will see what happens in the morning. I'll be screwed if I lost all my phone #s :eek:
 
......got home @ 8 and put the battery back in. It came on by itself and the screen said the battery was charging. Turned it on and it fired right up, I immediately sat down and wrote all the numbers down, it will call out fine but no voice from my end, I can hear them fine. When turned on or off it is showing the battery is charging. It's been a good phone w the abuse it has endured. Thanks for the advice from all.

Is whether it will dry out or not even a concern at this point?!
