Looking at the centech battery charger from Harbor Freight. If you have bought one, what has been your experience? Like it? Don't like it? Would buy again? Or, is it junk?

I have this one

Bought it when my OLD one shit the bed after years of work. It took some getting used to, but I like it now. It does its thing and will maintain the battery once it is charged. The 200amp start feature works, but it has a pretty short boost time. Then you have to wait for a couple minutes for it to regenerate itself for a lack of a better word. Also, if the battery is dead dead, you will need to add a jumper battery to get it to start to take a charge. The clamps are a little on the flimsy side as well, but still work. I think it is a good box for the price point.

I have one. It's fine. I've had Schumachers that were nicer/better. But none of the newer ones are like the "good" old ones that just worked when you connected em.

I've got an Optima battery charger and it's probably the best thing they make as well as the best battery charger I've ever owned. Pricey, but worth it. I've brought back several batteries that I thought for sure were gone.

I hook it to my 6 year old lawnmower battery, let it do its thing, was gone two weeks for work, hit the key, and it fired right up today. The battery in my S10 is also way older than it rightfully should be.

It analyzes the battery and will change charging amperage along the way (all the way down to .1 amps!) and even has a temperature compensation function. They also include a set of wires if you need to add a maintainer to something that sits a lot. You can hardwire it to the battery and then it plugs in to the charger whenever you need it.

No jump start feature, but I'll just plug it in and go do something else.
