What's the easiest way to center up a GM 2wd steering box for cross-over steering. I already have box and related parts installed. But it won't turn all the way one way but it will the other way. I think the box must not be centered up, so i want to double check it to make sure it is.

Disco the drag link, turn the box all the way to lock one way, then all the way to the other while counting how many turns it takes (at the steering wheel). Divide that by 2. So if it's a 6 turn box, take three turns of the steering wheel from full left (or right) and that will be centered (enough)

Get a sharpie, turn it full right - mark pitman shaft and steering box, turn it full left - mark steering box where pitman shaft mark ends up, find the center on the steering box with a tape measure - mark it, put shaft mark to center box mark.

This what you want to do?

Thanks, thats what i was looking for.
