Very happy w/ the non tinted windows on the TJ... This is actually for the family hauler "The Orange" (Honda Element) which currently has standard window tint on both the driver's and passenger's side front windows. It looks great and helps w/ the glare, but what I really wanted was something to help block the heat. On family road trips I always feel like my right side is frozen by the A/C and my left bakes in the sun. I want to stay within the legal limit for NC (30%) which is what I'm at now so going darker isn't really an option. My question is will going to a Ceramic Window Tint really make a difference w/ the heat? Does anyone have first hand experince with both? Any feedback is welcomed... Thank you!

Yes it does.. I had 35% ceramic put on my wife's Black G35 Coupe and honestly it stayed cooler than the 15% I had on my car awhile back... IT's more expensive but doesnt scratch as easily and seemed to make a significant difference in cooling...

I have it in my motorhome and it does keep it cooler. I have the upper 18inches of my windshield and the driverside and passenger side are 95%, mainly for glare and not as cooling. It's not legal but the windshield is over 4ft. tall and I've never had a prob.
