Champion Winch?

A 4 wheeling coworker just told me that Sam's club has Champion 7500 lb winches for $120. Anybody have any experience with them, for occasional use? Or is this a case of "you get what you pay for", and should I just keep saving...

I've seen them at Sam's, but I don't remember them being that low.
They look pretty decent and come with a mounting plate, I think.
 
Thanks for the link - I found off Google that they seem to be the same as Mile Marker?
Anyway, apparently they are on sale - maybe closeout, I'm not sure, but I may have her grab one for me.
 
wow, that price sounds to good to be true. is it? i'm casually looking for a trailer winch, and that would be perfect.
 
They were closeouts. You won't find it online. I got one. Having to modify it to fit my vehicle/bumper combination. But for $120 I can do that. The mounting plate that comes with it does not fit Jeep TJ's, but I found one at Harbor Freight for $38 shipped. So I have about $165 total in it.

By the way, I have universal winch mounting plate for sale cheap!:lol:
 
In Hickory they are all gone. When My wife bought mine the other day there were two left. She went back about 30 minutes later and they were both gone.
 
i called around some of the local stores and they said teh sold the last 7500 for $49.00:mad: but said they had the 10,000 for $350 if anyone is interested
 
Yep, hickory had the 10,000lb er for under $400 somewhere.

The more interesting thing to me was the 2000lb ATV winch kit for $34.76. I am going to pick up 2 of those next time I am up that way.
