your gears ought to be here this week. you pick up that axle?

not yet, gotta call puffy. if i can get the tubing this week can i come by and use your yard and bender? i am not working this week so i hope to get some work done.

look pretty good, but I would swap in a black bungee cord instead of the green. The green one clashes with the gray seat.

here is how i inboarded the rear springs. the front hangers are made from 3/16 steel plate, the rear ones i got from trail gear.

do yall think that there is enough clearance in these two pics?
the slave cylinder is about 3/8" from the tubing.

i will be taking out some of the leaves when i get it done to lower it a bit, so that will help out the driveline angle a little bit. and after i run it this summer i plan on linking it front and rear, lowering it even more, but right now i just want to get it done and back on the trail.

here is another picture from a different angle. still think its to much?
i will unbolt the shackles later today and jack it up to find out where it does bind.

Really it looks like alot of angle...but if your suspension cycle's the way you want it to up and down without binding then you'll be fine.

i checked for binding by unbolting the shackles and jacking up the rear with a high lift and don't have any binding at all. so i am good to go on that issue.

ok
i guess i will remove a couple of leaves from the pack and move the axle back an inch or two. that should help out a bit.
thanks for the input

Hey Ben looks good. I think you'll be much better off to remove several leaves and build a traction bar cause it will wrap like crazy with any leaves missing, trust me that is why I linked my pickup. The TG springs in my runner settled about an inch after I broke them with all the leaves in the pack.

thanks eric

i still have the traction bar that was in the truck and the mounts on the axle, just have to make a mount on the chassis. i am going to drill the spring perches too and move the axle back an inch.
