Trying to talk girlfriend into a mini vacation to watch races lol Saturday we can do whatever she wants, she's buying it lol. But camping with a bunch of "rowdy rednecks" she isn't down. Her words not mine. LolWith nothing to lose Saturday night
Just an FYI for anyone coming from out of town or worried about having too much fun; Camper trailers can be rented AT the dirt track for a fair fee or bring your own.....*might* be some post race fun going on
I said what the hell do you think we go wheeling with all the time!?She's never met us
I might just show up for the post race fun event. With nothing to lose Saturday night

Already told ya...so they can sell 7 dollar beers. Ha.Had a great time! I'd really like to know why torc didn't allow coolers into the race though.
Heard his name was Braxton, one of the village people.I got turned away with my cooler too. The wife was madder than I was about it. Damn 5 dollar water for her.. I felt like the Robbie squad was pretty cool, those trucks seemed a bit twitchy and was pretty shocked when none but one didn't get all crossed up. It was a shame he saved it. A walk through after the races opened my eyes up a good bit to the actual rubbing that went on. I was real obvious that alot more contact was made than this spectator caught on too. I know they were bumping and pushing a bit, but close up several trucks got fairly shredded. Very cool to see the different approaches and the resulting damage or lack of from contact. Even cooler was learning one of the podium truck was raced by Walker Evans in a past life. Dudes comment was it was the heaviest built truck on the track.
On another note who was wearing the sailors cap?
