I don't like the double tube 180 loop thing around the 'door' opening area. I think it looks stupid. The rest of it looks cool.

Front coilover angle is really shitty on the pictured buggy and would require a higher spring rate to be comparable to a near vertical mounting position

Not enough head room in that one.

Also, looks like a ton of work. Bending, coping, keeping stuff halfway square, etc is hard enough on something simple. It's cool looking, but it looks like it was a PITA to build... although, maybe it's more forgiving because it doesn't have any straight lines in it. Would we be able to tell if it were racked in all three directions?

Suspension seats. More headroom. Less sharp angle in the compartment.

Will this be the first chassis you have built? If so I think it's a little much for the first one. Try something easier.

I really like that one. The attention to detail is amazing

I have to wornder how the "around te hfender" visibility is in it, w/ teh seat so far back and down like that.
It looks like an RC car.

No, simple is also "common".
Go all out.

(I can say that b/c it isn't my project, budget, or time...)

Im with him. ^^^^
I do think that buggy is badazz. but i also like the style of the 1 you have already built. so combining should be really cool.:huggy:

Its all about preference to me.
I have never been a big fan of the "round" buggies.
The loops protecting/encircling the air bumps in front look cartoonish to me...just not my eal.
I appreciate the work and style that goes into that build, but it's not something Id ever want.

Other than the impressive amount of craftsmanship involved, i hate just about everything about that chassis, LOL.

Maybe its my engineer brain, but that thing has entirely too many sacrifices in functionality and safety for the sake of looks.

:poop:

If this is going to be your personal ride and you want to build more for other people then it should be all out as an example of what you can do with crazy amount of time in the details.

well with the times we are all having ,,if i spend tons of crazy time in detail, the price of a customers chassis would be higher priced.
It seems like theres more people that want an economy chassis, than a high dollar chassis.
i could be thinking wrong, but id put 2,3 chassis in the hands of the blue collar worker, than wait for that one person that wants an all out detailed big money off the wall chassis.
so mabey a new line for chassis, called the Economy custom cage,,full tube version, and f-toy version for the yota guys to place on their stock frame?
