Hey I have a 1987 XJ cherokee, I want to add 3inches or more cheaply and I plan on using my jeep for a daily ride with some off roading on the weekends. But I am confused mainly with which kits come with the most needed accesories suck as swaybar disconnects or like transfer case drop kit and or things like that. Or will I even have to worry about getting those things for my jeep? I need some serious help.

You could get 2" very easy with coil spring spacers in the front and lift blocks/lift shackles in the rear. Depending on your usage you might not even have to have shocks right away.

Most boost kits are only 2", for a true 3" lift you need replacement springs and shocks, alot of XJ's have driveshaft truble at 3" so you need to lower the TC or go with a SYE. Like was said NAXJA.org is the best place to get info on XJ's.

For 3 inches or more in the rear (this is getting sicker by the minute... ) go to NAXJA and search for "bastard leaf pack". It will explain how to build a lift pack using either S-10 or Dakota leafs.
