I went to Wal Mart last night to look at a couple different power wheels for my son. They have a new Dodge 3500 Black Dually that I really wanted to get him but I decided on a Polaris RZR instead. Luckily I looked online before I went so I could find a store that had both of them in stock so I could compare them. I get to the store and I notice the RZR is $49 more that it was online. I pulled it up on my phone so I could show the cashier when we got to the register assuming she would mark it down to $339 from $388. I find out that they do not match internet prices, even their own. By this point I'm starting to turn red. So I asked her if I ordered it on my phone and chose the site to store option, if I could have it right then and there. She said that's perfectly fine. So by now I'm 30 minutes into this ordeal. I get it ordered on my phone, get my confirmation number, and think I'm soon to be headed home. Now a lady shows up from the back, and she has to cart it all the way into the back, out another door back out into the store, I sign for it, and I'm on my way. To top it all off, it starts to rain right as I'm walking out the door. So be sure you take 5 minutes and check an internet price, or vise versa, before Walmart screws you out of money.

FYI a lot of big retailers do that. Have "online" price and "in store" price. Typically only things that are on special sales/clearance. Target, Best Buy, Sears, Lowes, HD... you name it.

add Northern to that list. The local store has local pricing based on local markets.
You can find different prices at different Walmart stores, and as you found, the internet price can be totally different.

I agree, lots of stores have caught on and you can save big by buying on line. We buy a lot of things on Ebay with no problems. No crowds, no parking prob, no standing in line, and no gas burnt driving from store to store. I was in a store the other day and the gal behind me was coughing hacking all over everybody! I stand in lines at the checkout when I have to only. Sorry about your experience though.

We were in Taget this past sat to get a lego set that was $80 reg price but was on sale online for $64.They had to pull it up but they matched their online price.

I would be totally OK with that, but Wal-mart not matching their own price is BS.

Oh we had to do some talkin to get em to do it.We finally had to get a manager over there and he said"of coarse we'll match it,it's our price".The cashier just didnt get it.One time Walmart had mispriced Rotella oil but would only let me have one gallon at that price,I had to pay full price for the other three gallons.

I wanted to buy a camera from Wally-on-line. Checked put all the specks, went through all the check out process, pick up at store, wouldn't let me pay for it!
Finally figured out, it was telling me "this item is not available"! Then why the Crap was it advertised, & offered?:flipoff:
