Well, for those interested... I didn't feel like paying $500-$1000 for a 2 in. Lift for my 2004 TJ. I need to be able to pull a small trailer, I can't stand how soft the factory springs are and the nose sits way to low to be a Jeep... So after a little research this is what I did... Rear coils from a. 2006 Rubicon unlimited (stock), front coils from a 98XJ (stock)... shocks were used from a 2006 Rubicon unlimited .... The effect!!! 1.5 in. Lift in the rear, 2.25 in. Of lift in the front... sits nice and level, doesn't nose dive and give the impretion I'm sitting on a Marsh mellow, the spring rates are very well balenced front to rear and she doesn't squat to the bump stops with 300 plus pounds of tounge weight on the back anymore.... total cost???? $50. Cash, and 4 gallons of gas from running around...
