Cheroke steering box...One way steering

Last time I took the Cherokee out my steering box started pouring from the Pittman seal. I also couldn't turn past center to the drivers side. It steers fine to the right but absolutely will not turn right of center. Anyone have an Idea what went wrong with the box?
I'm going to replace the box today but I'm planning on rebuilding the broken box and tapping it for hydro assist.
 
If its never had the fluid replaced/flushed, could be a clogged port on the "right turn" side. hopefully the rebuild will tell you more. and I assume the turns lock-to-lock were correct before?
 
I found the problem.....The bushing in the upper side of the trac bar had was completly wasted. I had been jumping the jeep and the the side to side movement of the front axle bent the pittman shaft. You can see that it's bent just by looking at it.
