Im looking to restore a 1983 cherokee wagoneer chief. Is there anything I should know about? Is it a complete no or is it worth it.

Depends on how much money you've got, and what you want out of it. If you want something to beat around in the woods, get it running and the 4wd working and spend money on upgrades like lockers, lift etc. If you want to restore it to original, REALLY break out your wallet. And it probably won't be worth what you've got in it when you're done.

The Chief is basically a 2 door waggy, call it what you want. some were wide tracks, some were not. parts all interchange.
