Chest/head cold going around

Anyone else got this? I haven't been sick in over 3 years. It hit me last Saturday night. It must be bad in my local area because 80-90% of the cough drops were missing on the shelves at my local CVS.

Symptoms I've had:
- sore throat
- cough
- sinus pressure (feels like 90psi in my head, my head throbs when I lay down in bed)
- runny nose
- fever
- chills
 
I had 7 guys out Monday sick. 2 have been out all week. Something definitely going around,

Inauguration-Rona?
 
Yes, it's terrible. I've had something off an on since Nov 20th. Get better for a few days and comes back. Currently feeling fine but still have cough and my head is plugged up.
I will take this over the stomach bug that is going around.
 
Wife has had it for a couple weeks. High School is full of it.
 
I had something similar on Monday. Hit me sunday night, sore throat, headache, chills. Stayed home and slept most of Monday. By the afternoon, the sore throat/headache/chills was gone. Just dealing with some sinus/draining stuff now.

Same here. Me, my dad and 2 of my kids have been sick on-off since before thanksgiving. feels like ive had 3 separate colds, with a couple days of being able to breathe in between.
 
My oldest son and I both got it a couple weeks ago. It swept by me in a day or so, and wasn't a big deal, he was over in a few days other than the lingering cough. My wife and the youngest got it from us, and she had a 102 fever for 4 days. First time in her 40+ years she's ever had a fever for longer than a day (lucky, I told her welcome to my world). Youngest has been feeling off and carrying a rough cough for nearly 2 weeks now.
 
Yep. Sore-ish throat and cough, annoying slight runny nose. I think I'm on the other side of it now though, just in time for the wife to start...

We must've had an early version, that was me in September. Horse meds kicked it, though. :lol:
 
That's covid or if it were 2021 it would be. I had the same thing last week, mild sore throat, sinus pressure, tired. It was literally just like what I had when it was called covid (twice). I didn't stay out of work ,only took an occasional advil ,I did take an entire Sunday and do nothing but sleep. Stayed with me for a little less than a week as I feel almost 100% this week. I was one of the irresponsible ones who didn't get the Vax or boosters, etc. my immune system seems to have worked it out.

You can call it covid. Might get us another stimmy check lol 😂
 
Covid is my thoughts too. I had it twice when it was more potent. Wife never caught. I got little sniffles this go but I think since I had the full blown vs I didn't carry it long. The wife on the other hand got this milder version and it taken way longer to kick it.

You just described my sister and her husband. Going on Day 3 now. They live in Walnut Cove. Y’all keep that crap up there!!
 
Mom came back on a American eagle petri dish (one seat on the left, two seats on the right and no headroom) visiting family in Mississippi last week. The next day she was laid up and feeling that way. She went to the doc And he told her bronchitis (contagious kind 🤷🏿‍♂️)
Full body aches, snot running out of all the head holes, and instant. Coughing and sore throat

Negative on the China flu though
 
I’ve had this minus the fever and chills. Going on week three.

I have never in my life needed to use a netti pot or had green or yellow snot. Now I’ve done all three!
Sinus pressure has been so bad I didn’t want to hit the gym.
Finally got amoxicillin this evening hoping it’s boiled down to a sinus infection
 
my primary right-hand-man coworker had it over the weekend til tues. Came it yesterday still sounding like crap.
Through some kind of miracle wife and I have avoided most funk aside the Rona back in summer.

Probably just jinxed it
