Chevy 4-speed bell?

Ok. Is a hydro slave mount bell the same depth as a manuel linkage bell? Does anyone have a messerment if they are the same or different? I have a manuel one and need a hydro slave. I'll buy or trade with someone if they need it.

I have a chevy 4 speed and 350 motor. I think its a sm465 mated to a np 205. Its going into a CJ-5. On the firewall there is a spot that looks like could be cut out for a slave master. Did a CJ ever come with a slave?

Dont know if the bellhousing are the same, but yes cj's did come with master and slave cylinder set ups.

I don't think they are different other than some mounting holes, etc.

You can use your manual bell and arm and get an aftermarket slave cylinder, push or pull, and make a custom bracket for it. Its really easy.

I am using a manual bell on my sm420 with the slave kit from novak. Had to rework the novak bracket a little, but it works fine.

I called AA. That had a brakcet in stock and ss line. Nice and easy. Thanks for the help
