Does anyone know of any place that sells a brake conversion kit to use 15 inch wheels while keeping 8 lug pattern....

Try extreme axle sales. I think they sell a half ton brake conversion for the front, but you know you can grind the calipers to make them fit right? Yea it sucks, but it does work. Search...tons of info on the internet about it (i.e. Pirate4x4.com)

get bigger wheels:huggy:

2.5" BS works as well

You don't need to change the brakes. Just get some 2.75" BS wheels.

I have the frontend under a mud truck and dont want all the weight in front from the heavy brake set up,also i run 3 tire classes and all my wheels are 15" wide 5 wheels. I just swaped from a scout 44 to the 60

You still have to grind with 2.5" BS 15in wheels. They'll clear when it's free spinning, but when you hit the brakes (and maybe the wheel deflects a bit under cornering?? not sure) the calipers rub on the wheel. I took a bunch of material off the calipers, took it for a test spin, and they still rubbed.

It depends on the axle (Ford or Chevy). It may also depend on the wheel manufacturer. Stump bolted a set of 2.75" BS 15" wheels on the front of his Chevy D60 and didn't have to do any grinding. On the other hand, I had to do some minor grinding on my Ford D60. Both sets of wheels came from 4wheelparts.

I purchased some chevy dana 60 caliper brackets from AA-FAB in Ca. got 1978 C20 rotors, 1978 C10 calipers. i have 2 wheels that are 3 inch BS and 4 wheels that are 5 inch BS.had to grind calipers to fit 4 inch BS wheels but wasnt to bad, the 3inch BS wheels worked without any grinding..This set up took alot of weight off front end using all dana 60 brakes while using 15inch wheels.... Hopefully this helps others in same situation
