ok, Im taking out a 70's 307 that is hooked to a T90 manual and planning on swapping in a 93 350tbi that is currently setup for an auto. I want to put the 350 in place of the 307 and keep the manual trans. will the flywheel from the 307 bolt up the 350? will the starter from the 350 work with the 327 flywheel if the flywheel will bolt up. the 307 starter is 'slow' and not really desireable, but I would rather buy a cheaper flywheel instead of a new starter, since the starter on the 350 is newish. whats interchangeable when it comes to this stuff? I dont know the tooth count on the 307, but I can count the teeth on the 350. where do I start?
school me somebody, please.

yes will swap np.. I ran a '72 307 in my old jeep but ran the auto etc.. the starter will be matched to the flywheel tooth count, otherwise either will bolt on, (don't think 93 had the 1 piece rear main ??) I used everything (starter/flexplate) off the '91 305 donor motor I had.

I actually liked the 307 it has the short(er) throw on the crank from the 327 and winds up quick...

so will I have to wait until I open up the donor clutch setup to see what size flywheel I need as well?

come on yall chime in !!
