I recently rebuilt my motor and now when I drive down the road the motor misses I've changed just about all the sensors distributor plugs and wires can't figure out what it is

What did you do during the rebuild and what engine do you have. Tbi? Vortec? etc. . .

Oh sorry bored 40 bigger valves RV cam headers and throttle body spacer and it's a 350 tbi

may have a rocker too tight.. maybe a vacuum leak.. does it idle fine.. then ride like hell when you take off?

It idles fine but when you put it in gear and drive down the road it surges like it has a dead miss.

Idk haven't checked that how would i check it but it has a new fuel pump and sending unit

is the distributor maybe off by a little in either direction? I had a Suburban one time that I put a motor in and I had that problem. come to find out I had 2 plug wires crossed and the distributor was just a bit off. it ran awesome after I figured that out.

I've checked the timing idk how many times and turn it a lil either way to see how the motor would act but same thing I can check the wires tomorrow but if I had some crossed wouldn't it miss while idling

not necessarily. mine idled fine and only ran rough while under a load.

I've heard of poeple putting the dist on 6 instead of 8 and that make it feel under powered.
