chevy owners/ hurculiner question

so i've decided to rip my carpet out and lay down some bedliner inside. anyways i have everything mostly stripped down but this front passenger side floor board. Just wondering if you guys had any trouble or encounted this sound deading pad and how yall got it off. pics below to show what im talking about....

I found the best way for myself to remove the factory sound deadening pads is to steal your wife's hairdryer and scape it up with a paint scraper.
 
If there's a Harbor freight or Northern near you they usually have really cheap heat guns. I have that same crap in my ford. Makes me just want to put the rubber back in lol.
