about to swap a solid axle under the front of the truck. i have heard a lot of people swap their rear springs to the front and use older chevy rears in the back. how well does this work? also, what size rear springs should i be looking for? any other info on this swap is greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

a lot of guys run the 63" chevy springs. they work well on 4runners or stuff with weight in the rear.

for a p/u I'd go with a ranger/2wd F150/tacoma rear set of springs and pull a leaf or two.

hope that helps.
