Pulled the OEM Chevy rims (w/ worn tires) off the Suburban Friday evening and replaced with OEM Dodge rims (w/ newer tires)...
The Chevy rims appeared to be HUB-centric? There are tabs in the ID that fit TIGHT to the front hub & rear axle flange, so had to bump them a few times to get them off after the lugnuts were removed.
The Dodge rims appear to be lug/stud-centric? The ID is the same dia. as the Chevy rims, minus the tabs...
Took my time using the lugnuts to get each rim centered, but now getting some intermittent light vibes and pretty heavy shudder when braking (zero beforehand). Possibly the balance is off (2 tire/rim combos have little/no weights), but I can't see that affecting the brakes...
Is it the difference in the rims?
