Alright guys, we're gonna have a Poker Run at Chinquipin ORP in Sneedville, TN. All proceeds will be going to the Kingswood Christian School - http://www.kingswood-school.com/index.html .

As of now there will be 2 classes: Moderate and Difficult (you pick your class) competing for parts and prizes that will be donated by various vendors. We will also be having raffles for others prizes that are donated. Entry fee for poker run will be $25.00. Raffle tickets will be $10.00.

Poker run, raffles, and trailriding on Sat. Sept. 4, Trailriding on Sun. Sept. 5.

I've been contacting vendors about parts and prizes -- and the kitty is starting to tally up pretty good. Remember, the bigger the turnout, the bigger and more prizes will be given.

If you have never been here before, make plans to attend -- it's gonna be a great ride for a great cause.

There will be plenty of room for camping with RV's and tents but there are no hookups. There is plenty of firewood, and camping is free.

The Poker Run will consist of 5 courses for each class, going from Point A to Point B (climbing an obstacle or short trail section) without any cones or other penalties. After you finish each course you will draw a card from the deck -- there will also be a bonus (tougher) climb for each class, if it is made then you're awarded an extra card. At the end the best 5 card hand will win.

**Our objective is for EVERYONE to finish and play thier hand **. We'll save the hard stuff till after the Poker Run.

Driver's meeting at 10:00

Moderate Class starts at at 10:15 (Winner gets a $400 gift certificate fro Cooper Tires)

Difficult Class starts at 12:30 (Winner receives a $500 gift certificate from Goodyear Tires)

** After the Poker Run we're gonna have a 1 mile race (across easy terrain), running 2 at time side by side. There will be 3 classes -- 4, 6, 8 cyl. -- $5 entry fee, winner takes all. We prerun it, hitting 75 mph in a Jeep Cherokee -- so it should be fun. Bring helmet. **

Raffle will be held after race -- going have around $3000 worth of prizes to give away ** Big thanks to all the vendors**
 
I want to say a big ** THANK YOU** to all the sponsors, competitors, volunteers, and spectators that helped make this event possible.

We had 63 rigs in attendance, with 41 competitors.

It was a busy weekend, but we enjoyed every bit of it. The crowd loved watching all the drivers put on a show -- I heard countless remarks from them all weekend --- great job guys.

Moderate Class ($400 Cooper Tire Gift Certificate) winner --- Curtis(Curtie) Corey - Barbourville, Kentucky

Difficult Class ($500 Goodyear Tire Gift Certificate) winner --- John Dawes - Indianpolis, Indiana

I think just about every competitor won a raffle prize, and a few guys won several times - it payed to play.

Competitor entries and raffle tickets cleared $1700 to give to Kingswood School -- and they told me to tell all you guys "Thank You".
