Christmas Parades 2013

Yesterday in our area we had many parades going on. Granite Falls NC, Hildebran NC. and Old Fort NC. At the parades we had representatives from Several clubs. Rock Corps 4X4, Big Dixie Boggers, Karolina K-5, Carolina Trail Blazers, and OBJ. We had as many as 25 in Granite Falls, I think 7 or so in Hildebran, and 16 in Old Fort. Between the three parades, we brought some joy and entertainment to the crowds! We threw out $100's of dollars of candy, We tire stacked, and we revved engines. They loved it, the clapped, they jumped up and down, they stepped back. The reason for us doing these is to show people our rigs, many have never seen one, but the main reason was to entertain and bring smiles to faces, as well as, to bring on the Christmas cheer. I had a ball yesterday! Thank you all that made it to the Granite parade as we had a great turn out! always fun to see the crowds faces light up when we drive through town!

Had a good time throwing candy, waving, and offering my tires for crawling on. Sadly I hadn't replaced my broken hub from last weekend so I was 2wd.

Are any of you guys going to the Rhodhiss or Cat Sauare parades? I'm thinking of taking a circle track car and we are trying to get Josh's crawler back together to go to Cat Square this weekend, maybe Rhodhiss too. If we don't go to Leonard Farm ride this weekend. Guess it depends on what the weather does.

It was rescheduled to this Sunday, the 15th. At least that's what was posted on another site, as well as their Facebook page.

Great job guys... We had 7 in the Canton parade, I wish we could have made those too..Maybe next year we can make a bigger showing..lol

We will have to post in the events section next year, maybe have one big thread for all the parades, plan ahead, and tryto get a bunch of us together and go to a couple. I enjoy the parades almost as much as wheeling.
