maybe once or twice but never seen the drivetrain. I'm a Ford guy who's learning jeeps.......(no need to start a brand name pissing contest) but I know that Some ford motor company products have interchangeable parts (rangers and Mazdas ; mountaineers and explorers) so I was wondering if the like was true for Chrysler and jeep?

Just wondering if there was any info on this.^^ because I have seen s-10 springs on xj's and jk suspension parts on zj's and etc. just wondering

Wrong group of folks to be worried about "brand name pissing matches", they all suck and we're smart enough to know that. No, none of that stuff will interchange except for the seats (maybe)

The Pacifica ain't Mopar, it's Mercedes. Based off the m-class from the previous generation. I think it was one of their first collaborative efforts after the buyout.

Most of the cross fitting of parts here are total fab work. The parts are used because they were available (free) or a better design than OEM and the owner was able to fabricate a way for it to work (free).

My TJ came factory with a 6.0 and cucv axles. :flipoff2:

My engine and transfercase are from a CJ and my transmission is from a dodge. Front axle from an XJ, but the rear is a silly ford piece.

Transfercase and axles are out of a mid 80's CUCV, engine and trans are from a 2002 Chevy 2500hd, steering column is from an XJ, the rest is from Summit, Jegs, Amazon and a twisted imagination . Keeping it simple.

My jeep has a buick motor
Chevy trans
Jeep t case
Chevy axles......
Basket case

I've realized a problem here. How do you decide what brand vehicle you have? Is it the grill, the frame? Do you decide by the most parts by one manufacturer or how about who ever has the most weight in parts? I'm wondering what/if my jeep is/could be.

I go by a VIN plate. Mine says its a 1999 jeep TJ and the hood, grill and windshield frame agree. The rest is a different story.

That's what I'm talking about, innovation that took a __________________ and turned it into something that works and works well especially when you used junk yard enginuity!!!
Keep it going
