Chrysler recalls nearly 600,000 vehicles

As many as 288,968 Chrysler Jeep Wranglers from model year 2007 to 2010 could experience leaking brake fluid which could cause brake failure.

You must be new here (to the US). The government doesn't own Chrysler, taxpayers do. I think I read that each tax payer owns 0.0000068% of Chrysler.

I for one am excited about the dividend payments I will receive.

I will agree but only if they lie to at least 2 different countries promising that no problems exist as they are proving it behind the scenes. Toyota screwed up when denied everything even thugh they knew the problem could exist. They are under review in Japan for the same thing. Now if Chrysler does that I agree. fessing up to some issues is what should be done.

Actually it sounds like 25,000 Caliber and Compass vehicles are being recalled for the same type of Toyota sticking pedal syndrome.

280,000 Wranglers recalled due to brake failure which is a much worse problem than a sticking thottle pedal.

280,000 Minivans recalled cause they can catch on fire.

Got a recall notice in the mail today for my '07 Wrangler. It didn't address the issue talked about here, but for the Mopar tow bar, which might become disconnected, causing a crash. Funny thing is, I never bought the tow bar.

these are pics of the "problem" and fix, its strange I've never seen one person in almost 3 years on jk forums complain about a problem with brake line being rubbed
