That's a shame...I remember reading about him testing some 'bullet cars' in either Guinness or a set of classroom Encyclopedia's and thinking he was the coolest thing ever. He was usually my go to topic for school reports in elementary/middle school.

I read his book about 2 years ago, it's amazing what he did and what he got away with. He was almost court marshalled for shooting a gov't horse with a machine gun. It was a great read (the best part was the book had been signed by Chuck).
