We are planning a Civil War (NORTH VS SOUTH) Wheeling event in August at Field and Forest Offroad in New Hampshire. Devin Noyes is doing most of the organizing but I know he isn't really on this forum so I am posting for him (and team south)
We tried it last year and didn't have enough guys from the South show up to really do a competition. It's a long haul and most folks aren't willing to commit to it. So I figured it would be worth mentioning on here as there are some wild guys I know aren't afraid of a long haul trip to make some memories and wheel somewhere new.
10 vs 10 competition ideally. Just for bragging rights and a good time.
This park is no joke. Body damage is to be expected.
We are looking to recruit a few guys for team south to make the trip.
If this seems like something you would be interested in contact me and I can get you any information you might need.
Dates are August 10-12th I believe. Most of us are convoying up Wednesday/Thursday and coming back on Monday the 13th but things are still in the planning stages right now.
We will wheel for fun Friday, Competition Saturday, wheel for fun sunday, then head home Monday.
Next year the event will hopefully be down south at Golden Mountain. That's the plan anyway.
