Say you found one of these in pretty minty condition. However, the body had been removed and sandblasted. It has very light surface rust but is a complete Jeep with the PTO on the back and everything. My FIL is wanting an old Jeep to drive. I'm thinking of talking this over with him to see if he'd be interested. If he agrees what do you think a fair price for one of these is? I'll have to put it back together and paint it but I don't consider that a big deal if everything is there.

edit: here's an article that FourWheeler did on one

I don't know shit about these, I'd guess $3k if its all there and in pretty good shape?
Which makes my opinion pretty worthless really.

Super cool. I'd love to have one.

Well, I don't know either. I've got a decent idea on some older Jeeps but not his one. I know there's some old flatty guys on here so I was hoping they'd chime in.

The Monroe 3 point hitches will bring big money on eBay. The PTO setups sometimes command large sums and sometimes I see them for reasonable amounts. If it has the 3 point, pump, governor, PTO, and all the other good stuff it’s worth a lot to just part it out.

I looked for several years thinking that I wanted the 3 point lift for my Jeep. But the more I read about them and the more the prices went up I decided it was a novelty that I didn’t need. I have a PTO setup that I never used. I probably won’t ever use it now that I got an overdrive.

I've seen these in action, and yeah they are very kewl! I have also seen at a Jeep show years ago in Hickory, a guy from VA brought his down, as well as all the implements, and if a person had the Jeep and all that went with it, no way a man could buy it for 3K, if it has been restored, then I'd say you would be upwards of 10K or higher!

They're pretty cool, pretty rare, and pretty pricey. If you have one complete and working/running, name a price and someone will buy it.

Any photos of the jeep in its current condition? And the implements that are with it? May help with the idea of how much it's worth. And we all like to see cool old iron!
