cj auto brake pedal

my jeep was born w/ a manual trans by time i got it a auto had been swapped in however it still has the man. trans type brake pedal w/ the small pad. the clutch pedal is gone. i would like to convert to the wide at style brake pedal. ? is can i just swap out the arm assembly from a auto cj or is the whole upper bracket different to. if its a whole lot of trouble & work i'll forget it, any ideas on just modifing the end of brake arm to accept the the wide pedal pad ? what say you all

I removed a large auto brake pedal from a wagoneer and used it. I just cut the CJ one off with a plasma cutter and welding on the new one. Works like a charm and was alot easier then taking apart the pedal assembly under the dash.
