I've been a member for a while and am not a newbee to autos fairly new to 4x4's. I am probably going to be chewing on this big bite I'm taking on. I was given a 1981 CJ7 (motor blown manual trans ???) and was given a 1989 Suburban 4X4 w/700r automatic, complete drive train all working , body and interior completely trashed. So my vision was to merge the driveline to the CJ using the 300 from the CJ as the transfer . what I've done so far full width spring brackets, anti wraps for rear . Advanced adaptors 300 kit.
Any suggestions on fuel cell and electric fuel pump the burbs fuel tank fits like a glove between the rear wheel-well but 30 gal is a little bit much. I do realize 10 bolt axles are 10 bolt but they were free.

10-bolts are about as strong as a Dana 44. But the housings aren't quite as strong and the c-clips in the rear suck when you do break.

I like your sig. Go for it.

Depending on what tires you plan to run...

Dont forget 14 bolts are $93.00 at Pull A Part. There were about 4 of them there a couple months ago. I bet you could sell the rear 10 bolt for close to that on CList. And a front 10 bolt will be a good place holder for when you find the right deal on a 60, then it will bolt in.
