CJ5 shackle length

I am about to redo the suspension in my CJ to get rid of the ridiculously long shackles (~12") that a PO has put on there. I will be using 2.5" lift YJ springs and doing a shackle reversal. Before I start ordering parts I need to find out how long the stock CJ shackles were, anybody have one with the original shackles that they could go measure for me? Thanks -Mike

I got one of these that I need to get rid of. I'm pretty sure it's all still there except the shackle tubes (already welded in the frame). I installed it, rolled the jeep out of the way, and lost interest. If you are interested PM me. I can get some shackle measurements for you tomorrow evening.
