CJ8 Half Cab & Bulkhead

I have a half cab and bulkhead in my Scrambler and will be looking to part with it soon. What are these going for these days? It's in great condition....

Well hells bells...I could have used one of these a few years ago. The bulkheads are ~$300 new, so I'd say if it's in great condition, you could probably get $200 out of it.

I see used full hard tops for CJ7's for ~$400 pretty frequently. Seeing as the half cab for a Scrambler is much more rare, especially in good condition, I'd bet you could easily get more than that.

But it always also suffices to say that they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

I think you can get a pretty penny for that half top. But why get rid of it?

I'm 6'5" and want to move my seats back 2-3" and throw in new ones. I'm also going to fab the brackets and lower them 2".

This reminds me of the old TNN show called Truckin USA with Ed Bruce. It used to come on TNN about 30 years ago. They had a segment on Uwharrie and featured a Scrambler with a CJ7 hardtop. The driver was kind of a trail guide and I remember him talking about making sure you kept your thumbs out to avoid getting them injured when the wheel whips back and forth.
