Looking at this Scrambler for sale. Would love to know what you guys think and whether or not I should pursue. Below is the vehicle description from the seller:
1984 CJ8 Scrambler. Body has around 160k miles and the motor was swapped out with a fuel injected 4.0 HO from a YJ. Original twin stick Dana 300 transfer case matched with the Borg Warner T-5 (5 speed manual). Has a 3” super lift with 33” pro comp all terrains probably less than 500 miles on them. Body is in decent shape there are some spots that could be repaired but no holes through it again just sits in the garage. Drove this thing all over Hawaii loved it, moved to VA and it has been sitting in my garage since. I start it every couple of months but that’s about it. Had plans to completely redo the paint and do the 350 Swap but decided to get my son a car...you know the “adult decision”. But anywho if interested please just message me I’m a little flexible on the price but also know that these are hard to come by and get rarer each day. Not selling a restored vehicle price would be doubled but very cool to drive around in.1984 CJ7 Scrambler also called the CJ8.
