CK5 Autumn Thump at Uwharrie -October 21st

Im still waiting on a carb rebuild kit, floor pan, and rear spring hangers. Something tells me the night before we leave is ganna be a long one:rolleyes:
 
I gotta ask you guys....
On Saturday morning, would ya'll be interested, as a group, to haul some supplies up RML for the workday?
Need some pickups to haul 12' guardrails and some posts up the trail.
Ya'll can be there at Hunt Camp ready to roll at 9:00 am or at the double parking lot aroung 10:00 am and we'll get you out ASAP.

You can include me and my girlfreind with John (Thezentree) showing up late friday night with tent, trailer and an 85 RC. Id give you a hand with hauling the guardrails with my towrig but the long wheelbase and exploded CAD system wouldnt lend well to going up the mountain.

Man this looks like it is going to be a big turn out. Happens to be a work weekend to. You guys planning on just wheelin? Or doing some trail maint. to?
 
I'm willing to help where I can, but after planning this for nearly two months, and having the wife and kids there, I need to limit myself in participating in the work weekend and maximize showing the family why this is so much fun.

For me and the family, the coincidence is just bad timing.
 
I'll be there early Sat. morning setting up camp. Then going to meet you guys at the outpost at 9:00. A taco is goin to be with me also along with a few friends. And I might be able to haul stuff if needed. Just let me know.
 
well i didnt get a site reserved at badin lake, so were gonna stay at hunt camp and just meet at the outpost at 9 saturday morning. everything is lookin good!
