going to put a d300 in a 95 Yj with pass drop for a chevy 60 front axle. Does anyone know if I'll have any Clearance issues with it? Considering a 1" motor lift as well to try and flat belly it. Also I'll be using a cable shifter.

The cable shifter would eliminate a huge hole in the tranny tunnel but the amount of clocking will play a huge role in clearance also. Body lift will help. If you keep the 300 factory clocked at 23(ish) degrees, you may not need to cut anything. Completely flat clock you're almost guaranteed to have to cut. I wish I could help more but I've only swapped a 300 in an XJ with PSD.

Ran a flat skid with a D300 and clocking ring in my cj for years.
Once you start rotating the front output shaft up, a sawzall and sheet metal will happen real quick.
Got a 3/8" thick clocking ring you can have for free if OP needs it.

A friend ran one in a yj, passenger drop. not sure about his clocking, but he pretty much cut half the floorboard out, got the t-case the way he wanted it, and built a floor back around it.

Thanks. Don't really want to do a body lift if I can help, I hate them. So I guess I'll be doing some sheet metal work to get it flat.
