Question, its hard to tell by my description im sure, but i will ask anyway, maybe its more common then i think.
i finally got my 77 F-150 on the road, then took it off road right away. i went to go up a huge hill, had to put it in 4 low, and when the front of my truck got part way up the hill, there was a strange clicking noise ive never heard before. it night be normal for my truck perhaps. i havent driven it enough yet to learn its usual noises and things, but it didnt sound like it would be a normal noise. the clicking sounded like it was coming from the front end somewhere. not sure if its in the axle, or somewhere else, i just could tell it was coming from the front of the truck. not sure if anyone could help or not. just hopeing it might be more common of a noise.
thanks

My "clicking" turned out to be a cracked ear on the stub shaft which had caused one of the ujoint caps to wallow around and grind all needle bearings to dust. New stub and ujoint, no clicking.
