Retards, some spikes,saddle and a pulling rope would have worked.

lPart 2.......this guy is only slightly more briliant than the first guys and more in danger of the saw hurtin him bad IMO. There is usually no need to notch any leaning detached tree, just cut straight thru w the top of the bar from the leaning side and be ready to get the saw and yourself out of the way when it breaks and repeat till it comes unsnagged and falls down, no need to reach up high either, much more saw contol at your hip than shoulders or higher.
