when changing direction at low speeds or sopped i have a clunking sound coming from the front of my jeep. Its am 05 wranger unlimited rubicon. I JUST replaced the trackbar brace, disconnects, and steering stabilizor. I went to harlan last weekend and there was a whine coming from the front but I never found out what it was and it eventually stopped. Given that info where should I start?

Sounds like a track bar issue, check to make sure the bolts are still tight since you just replaced it. Also make sure the jam nut is tight on the track bar if it is an adjustable one.

Check ball joints i had this same sounding issue with my zj d30 ball joints on the knuckles were so bad it was moving up/down when turning replaced all kinds of crap till i jacked jeep up one day and seen the tire drop down after being in the air.... very dangerous might i add too if this is your problem! hope this helps!

I had my daughter move the wheel back and forth while I was under it... (nervously) and sure enough its the trackbar. it looks tight but its clunking back and forth. I have a new on in my garage I got with the brace maybe I'll go ahead and swap it. Just the bottom bolt looks like a PITA so I reused the old one. DURP!

Glad ya figured it out and not something major!
