On a 97 TJ how can you disengage the clutch? (Translation how do you make it so you dont have to use it to crank the jeep)

Did you look in the owners manual? I thought there was an empty fuse slot somewhere, you put a fuse in and it for 'clutch override'

dont think that works for a 97. not sure. A good friend said "unplug conector from clutch pedal and jumper the 2 pins of the plug." Assuming he found it online so i'm gonna try that. thanks
