Clutch for YJ

Looking a putting a clutch in my 95 YJ 4.0. I want to upgrade to something better as in the future I want to go with a stroker motor. Has anybody had any experiece with any of the better clutched out there, name brands, aftermarket??

Spec clutches are an excellent choice IMO. My Mustang pulls 1.4x 60 foot times, 5k rpm launch, on a 150 shot, on ET Streets with one. It's a puck style without high pedal effort.

if you plan on wheeling it i would go with the luk pro gold. you have to be careful because a lot of high performance clutches can't withstand being slipped. they are designed to either have your pedal on or off.

i have a rhino hd clutch in my yj. works awesome with all the hell i hut it through, i actually have an extra kit sitting around if ur interested, you can drive my yj for the actual experience of what ud be buying.lol

I have had good luck using a local brake and clutch shop. He takes my old clutch and rebuilds it using solid brass pucks. It is a no slip jump up and go clutch. Beat the crap outta it.
