Clutch not engaging

I posted alwhile back that I had a hole in my hydro clutch line in a 93 xj ax15. Well I think I fixed the leak with a compression fitting but I cannot seem to get the clutch to engage anymore. I bleed the system alot and im sure theres no air. I can start the vehical in 1st while pressing the clutch in and if I move the pedal a hair from the floor it engages. I can do that in all the gears. But after that i have a frozen pedal and i cant press to pedal down. I guessing it has to be the slave? This problem is making me want an automatic so bad
or replace with a ax15 with external slave? what do you guys think

I'd put an external slave on there. Its much easier to work on and replace if necessary. They are cheap ad easy to setup.

Other than that, I have no useful info

thanks Im going to start looking for a used ax15 with an external slave tomm bc Im sick of looking smelling like brake fuild all day.
