For those of you with budget boost lifts...how is the ride quality of your Jeep? I bought a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the inline 6 just a few weeks ago and put a brand new set of 15x8 Cragar Soft 8 wheels with 30/9.50/15 Maxxis Bighorns on it. It had some rubbing issues so i trimmed the inner fender liner and a little off of the front bumper but I would like just a little more clearance. The Jeep had brand new coil springs and shocks replaced on it all the way around right before I bought it.

I have a buddy who makes either metal or steel (can't remember for sure) coil spring spacers and he said he will make a set for my Jeep and install them. They equal out to about 1.75" of lift. How is the ride quality of your Jeep's with coil spring spacers? I do NOT want to lift it any more than this. This is all that I want to do it. Thanks for the help!

Ride quality will not really change, and at less than 2" of lift you really don't have to do any other mods.

Sounds good. I was kind of skeptical of doing it just because the Jeep actually rides really good the way it sits. I'm guessing it's because of the new coil springs and shocks but I think I'm going to go for it. Thanks for the help man.

Yeah, you wont need an adj. track bar at that height either. My DD is a 96 with 2" spacers and it rides just fine.
