Ihave a Cherokee I'm building, cut up with tubing everywhere.
I'm not sure between 14 and 16 in.'s. What valving? What spring rate? i don't have scales. Does anyone have something near my weigt? Stock 4.0, aw4, etc.

What's your steering setup? Front or rear? Plenty of room to mount?
Most people run 14s and are happy with them and will tell you 16s are too much. 16s seem to be used on larger vehicles with 42+ tires and what we use the majority of the time if hydro is used. 14s will max out if not come close to maxing out steering with mechanical linkage. They still have a considerable amount of travel and your springs will be around $100 cheaper give or take than 16s. Valving depends mostly on driving style and your terrain. The majority that I sell are 40/90 I believe and they have worked out well although its not the end of the world if you have to re valve them yourself. I don't know the weight of a XJ but pirate should have someone doing something similar to what you've done. I do agree with Jim, start with a 200/300, but look at others setup and see if it works for them. I have some in stock and guarantee the lowest price if you're looking for Fox by the way.
